The internet has revolutionized the world in more ways than one. Beginning as a virtual storehouse of all information, it progressed to provide other services like downloading free songs, music videos and movies. Aside from watching movies in the theatre, you have the option of renting a video and watching it in the privacy of your [...]
Tuesday, July 14 2009 – After perusing a large number of people camped out by a local movie theater waiting for the opening of the new Harry Potter movie, apparently in violation of numerous Santa Cruz California Municipal ordinances including loitering within 14′ of a business and the ‘camping ban’ prohibiting the use of a sleeping bag within city limits at any time of day or night. I saw Logan at the corner of Pacific st. and Soquel avenue in Downtown Santa Cruz, ex-Pacific Garden Mall, now SHOPPING Mall, and stopped to talk at him in regard to how the laws affect him, and the nature of SELECTIVE, CORRUPT, ENFORCEMENT of Santa Cruz’s city’s many municipal laws passed at the behest of the Downtown Business Association intended to single out the so-called ‘homeless’ and/or allegedly ‘non-consuming’ residents and visitors to the of the city. Shortly before I interviewed Logan, I flagged a Santa Cruz police officer in a patrol car down across the street from the theater and asked why he was not enforcing the law against those people lined up for the movie. As he rolled up his window, he informed me he had ‘other (unspecified) things to do’, and drove away. Institutional corruption is no laughing matter. In this case, and in the current American mileau, it hearkens back to the days of the British ‘Nobles’ who would go berserk in the streets of old England, attacking people, often killing them, and raping the women, with the ‘Nobles’ untouchable under British common law. My first HP vid! Yay! To be honest, I never really saw something in the Draco/Hermione romance, I totally love Ron/Hermione, but, well, I saw too many Hermione/Draco vids, so now, here is my tribute ^.^ Btw, yes, the effects are, lets say, not good. Next time better. I have to start somewhere
Story: When they were younger, Draco & Hermione fell in love, although they have had some hard times. But, growing up, they got into even harder situations. When Draco joins the Death Eaters, he gets the order to kill Hermione, she is Muggle-born and she can distract him from the other things he has to do for them. He is so torn between his choices: kill her or being killed himself by Voldemort. He does attempt to do it, but he isn’t really trying: he gives Katy Bell a cursed neckglace to give to Hermione, and when Hermione finds out Draco did that, she gets angry with him, but she can’t stay it for very long. Read the end of the description to spoil the ending – I mean – to find out what happens

The Legend Himself Made His Own Place In the History of Boxing Sports! ****** In violation of every expectation, and the blood oath he made to his trainer, Manny Pacquiao put his back to the ropes. It was the one place he was not supposed to be, gloves up in a posture that conveyed a great dare, as he waited to take shots from the bigger man. “I heard that he’s stronger than me,” said Pacquiao. “I wanted to test his power.” This was the fourth round of what still seemed a very close fight, Miguel Cotto having won the opening round by establishing a powerful jab. At best, Pacquiao’s rope-a-dope seemed to defy common sense. More likely, as you watched Cotto banging him around the body, it was evidence of the natural welterweight’s physical superiority. And then, without warning, everything changed. Not only did Pacquiao escape, he began tearing into the bigger man. The flurries came from angles that Cotto was not accustomed. “I couldn’t see from where the punch came,” he said. The most damaging of the blows was a big left that sent Cotto down for the second time. The first knockdown had seen Cotto’s gloves touch the canvas. This time, he went down for real. You could see it in the distant, dumbfounded look in his eyes. If it hadn’t happened so late in the round, Cotto might not have survived. As it happened, I had Cotto winning the next round — a testament to his heart and a classical style. But Pacquiao shut him out the rest of the way, another six-plus rounds until …

The main problem with learning to speak Thai is that the basis of the language is not European-based. English and the other Euro languages have Latin, Greek, Viking, etc., roots; Thai does not, so you have to memorize hundreds, if not thousands, of strange and unrelated sounds. This is difficult, unless you use some sort of memory trigger.
Speak Easy Thai is a low-cost (about US$25) CD-ROM that helps solve this problem by presenting a picture and a sound file; all words are spoken by a native Thai speaker, so you hear the correct tone.
If you see a Thai word printed in a book, such as a travel guide, chances are you will not remember the word because there is nothing to hang your hat on.

Just as children need their parents to read to them and teach the alphabet, parents can also teach their young children the foundational “music Language” skills for piano or keyboard. If you can teach your child the alphabet, you can also give them an important foundation at home for learning to read music and understand keyboard theory. Even if your young children are already taking piano lessons, piano teachers don’t have time in a 30 minute weekly lesson to give kids the complete foundation they need to read music easily. But most parents don’t know how easy this is to do because they don’t have the right tools, resources and support from their child’s piano teacher. Sometimes piano teachers even make parents feel stupid when they ask what they can do at home to help. They act as though only a piano teacher with their level of education and experience is qualified to do this. This is not true! Even if you don’t play the piano, you are absolutely qualified to help your child get a great keyboard foundation at home.
Rutgers may be ranked for the first time since 1976, but it won’t have a picnic Friday night in South Florida. The Bulls have had some problems sticking the ball in the end zone, but they have been very good at keeping their opponents out of it. Last week, South Florida held Kansas to just 13 points on the road. This week, the Bulls will be tested by an offense which has put plenty of points on the board the past few weeks including 56 points last week against Howard.
The facts are that the Scarlet Knights will get their first test in nearly a month against the Bulls. They were tested in their opener against the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill, but since then they’ve been playing pushovers. I think the easy non-conference schedule will definitely show Friday night as Rutgers will face the best defense they’ve seen this season. South Florida’s defense has kept the Bulls in each game this year until the offense is finally able to get it going. Because of this stingy “D”, the Bulls have come up with three come from behind wins before falling to Kansas last week.
